Air Resistance
There are many elements that limit speed, including the air! One of the many jobs of the Aerodynamics department is to limit the amount of air resistance that can be applied to the vehicle on a Race Weekend. Teams need to be creative with the shapes of their car parts and weight of material used to maximize efficiency.
